Ashampoo Core Tuner 1.21

Almost all modern computers have at least two processors, which are generally referred to as “cores”. Some even have four. Unfortunately, Windows often doesn’t manage your multiple cores very well, so you’re not actually getting the full multi-processor power you paid for.

Ashampoo Core Tuner enables you to use the full power of all your cores. For instant results you just need to select Auto-Optimize to optimize all the programs you are running or Boost to give more power to a single program.

You can also fine-tune individual processes, display a live view of the current workloads of all your processor cores and enhance the overall performance of your system with additional tools.

It would have been nice to try the latest version (v2 as opposed to a version two years old)

Get rid of the Ashampoo toolbar from the installation wizard or at least start it with the toolbar and home page hijack unchecked.

Uncheck the service channel check boxes by default. I don't want information about new versions and Ashampoo products popping up when I run the program. Checkboxes are easily missed. You should give the user the option to opt in not opt out.

Also get rid of the web search as the default during the installation wizard. It's really underhand including these in the installation process.

Tend to get a lot of spam emails from ashampoo due to the sign up process. - Stop sending spam without the user having to take steps to block them. Thank you.

Make registration simpler, i.e. give a global registration key so that users don't have to create an ashampoo account and register the program via Ashampoos web site.

Give the user the choice whether to include Core Tuner in the Start up boot sequence not have it automatically install itself into the boot sequence.

Have the registration page open in my default browser, not force it to open in IE.

The live graphical representation of the cores is a useless tool. Improve this so as to make the graph traces more meaningful; e.g. be able to select individual cores and see exactly what's being used via a proper graph set up

I too don't care for the tool bar activation but that is easy to fix, I own several Ashampoo products and love them all. Right now is the time to stock up and get every angle covered, most every product is only $15 for 5 more days from today 5-1-12,

is too old, only has 4 cores where I need 8 to be shown, no real setup to change amount of cores shown, can only do a this or that type of choice, not good at all for much of anything.
